About this Clinic

The Roehampton Clinic is a Genito-Urinary Medicine (GUM) NHS clinic in London. It offers a comprehensive sexual health service which is free and confidential.

The service is open-access and self-referral - which means you do not need to be referred from your GP or anyone else.

Our service includes:

Sexual Health Check-ups
screening for sexually transmitted and other genito-urinary infections
treatment and information
HIV testing
Rapid HIV tests (result in 30 mins)
Sexual Problems
Health advice, counselling and referral (if required)
Safer Sex
Free condoms, femidoms, lubricants
Advice and information
Young Persons
Designated "walk-in" clinic
Gay Men
Friendly advice and information
Testing and vaccination for hepatitis in individuals at risk

Emergency contraception & advice on contraception

Confidentiality

All services with the Roehampton Clinic are confidential.

The information we collect will be held in the strictest confidence. Your notes are not circulated to other hospital departments

If you were referred by letter we will reply to your doctor. Any requests for information about you is only released with your permission.

Interpretation Services

This can be arranged, if requested in advice.

We can provide both telephone and face-to-face interpreters in most languages.

If you are deaf or hearing impaired we can arrange a signer. Please text to request an appointment on: 07500 975 940

The interpreters we use will not pass on any information that you told them, except to Roehampton Clinic staff

The Genito-Urinary Medicine and HIV services at Roehampton Clinic are sited at Queen Mary's Hospital and managed by St George's Healthcare NHS Trust

Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)

Based at St George's Hospital in London. They can provide advice and assistance in dealing with complaints.
